Definitions

Types of cookies

There are three main types of cookies:

Google Analytics

redoupcycling.com also includes some components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. These cookies are also collected anonymously to monitor and improve the functionality of the website (performance cookie).

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect and analyse anonymously information on browsing behaviours on redoupcycling.com (including the user’s IP address). This information are collected by Google Analytics, which procecces it in order to report the activities on the websites for the operators of Grafiche Futura. This website does not use (and does not allow other people to use) Google’s analysis tool to collect personal data. Google does not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it attempt to link an IP address with a user’s identity. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Duration of cookies

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are also available on subsequent visits by the user.

These cookies are named persistent and their duration is set by the server in the moment of their creation. In some cases, the browser sets a deadline, in other cases, thei duration is unlimited.

Redoupcycling.com does not use persistent cookies.
However, browsing the pages of the website redoupcycling.com, it is possible to interact with websites which are controlled by third parties that can create or modify permanent cookies or profilation cookies.

 

Managing of cookies

The user can decide if accepting the cookies or not by using the settings on his browser.

For example, Firefox allows to access a control panel (Settings->Options->Privacy), through which it is possible to set if accepting or not the different types of cookies and removing them.
